Why I Should Never Blog Angry

Sadly, these are phrases commonly heard in our home:

  1. Seriously?  Do you want me to punch you in the face/kick you in the teeth/run over you with my car?
  2. I'm going to throw you out on the curb one day!
  3. Just wait...I'll set you on fire someday soon!
  4. I'm just waiting to upgrade to a newer model, you jerk.
I'm very careful to only say things like that after Miss A has gone to bed.  I don't want her to witness such hostility and rage.  I don't want her to think this is a normal relationship.  Because my relationship with my sewing machine is anything but normal.  (What?  You didn't think I was talking about something else, did you?)

The Devil's Sewing Machine
Why my machine will work perfectly for a few days then decide that it can't remember how to sew a single stitch without breaking thread or tying itself in knots, I'll never know.  I hate the thing and I really do mean #4:  as soon as I can afford it, out this one goes and a newer model joins our family.  And sorry for the craptastic phone photo...guess who forgot to charge the camera batteries?  This is not my day.

I'm not even labeling this post as Gettin' Crafty.  This (insert hateful word here) has made it impossible to craft anything as of late.  In the meantime, I'm painting and working on Miss A's play kitchen...look for that post by the end of the week.  For now, I'm off to practice my relaxation breathing techniques and look up some anger management tips.
