Today is December 27. And although we've had the official first day of winter and it's been cold here, our winter hasn't really started yet. Winter in Oklahoma tends to hit in January or February. Those are traditionally the months we'll get a bit of snow (maybe once or twice) and then it will just be bitter cold for awhile (usually cold into April!)
So tell me, why am I torturing myself by reading up on websites, checking out library books and talking to friends about gardening?? Usually it's mid-January or February before my mind turns to these subjects, but here I am, two days out from Christmas, dreaming of warmer weather and plant sales. I think I need an intervention.
