My Dad. What can I say about him? He's fantastic. Every year I want to do something special and personalized for him for Father's Day and every year, I stink at it. Why is it so hard to buy gifts for the guys in my life? Why, oh why?
I had a basic soft drink carrier (from Sonic Happy Hour! Holla!) I wanted to decorate it, but then I thought: "This is my Dad. He'll throw away the box" and I left well enough alone; I just covered the Sonic logo with some scrapbook paper and a scrapbooking button.
My Dad always has a cold drink (usually sweet tea). I found these cute manly cups you can put in the freezer. He also loves creamsicles (do you remember those? Yum-o!) so I found this recipe for Creamsicle cookies and added a big stack of them, along with a few candy bars. The other side of the holder has a giant bag of pistachios and a bag of miniature Reese's cups, two of his favorite things. I suppose you could make a much healthier gift box, but this is a holiday, after all!!
I have another drink holder and a really cute idea for that one...you'll have to check back to see what I do with it!

I did a post not too long ago that included a bunch of drink carrier gifts. I love what you made for your Dad! Simple and quick, and full of goodness : )

I love this idea! So smart! For gifts I always give movie packs. Two sodas, box o movie theater type candy, bag of popcorn and a movie or blockbuster gift card. It would be too cute to use a drink carrier for the wrap! Thanks for sharing!
