I love Autumn. It's my all-time favorite time of year. I love the weather, the food, the clothes. I love snuggling up on the sofa under a quilt to watch a movie while the rain comes down. I love the house filling up with the scents of cinnamon, ginger and cloves as cider bubbles on the stove. I love the feeling of warmth and family that comes from sitting around the table with bowls of steaming hot soup and playing cards with the ones I love. Yes, I love Autumn.
In my mind, Autumn officially begins September 1st, regardless of what the calendar says. So this weekend, I went to the storage shed and dug out my fall wreath. I bought this very large grapevine wreath last year at a yard sale for $2. Check out the before...yuck!!! But I knew that I'd pay a lot more than $2 if I went to the craft store and bought a wreath this big. Now before you think, "Wow, what a bargain...only $2!!" let me add that I spent $50 for the silk flowers to stick in it. I was pregnant; the hormones made me delusional. I would never spend that much had I not been in a pregnancy haze. Money aside, I LOVE the end result. It makes me happy just looking at it. Hanging it up makes me want to head to the pumpkin patch!
This week, I'm joining in here. Click the links to find a cornucopia of creativity! (I can't resist pulling out all my fall lingo.) :)

what a fun makeover! I do the same thing. Save money on the base of a craft but then end up spending WAY too much on the end result. But as long as you love it it's okay! Thanks for linking up to Topsy Turvy Tuesday's!
Thank you for stopping by Ashlee! And thank you for hosting TTTs! :)
