Last week I was able to complete a fun project for my daughter's playroom. It was really easy and only took a couple of hours. Most of that time was waiting for the paint and mod podge to dry. I used scrap wood leftover from making closet shelves. Each measures about 12x12. I painted them a pretty blue I mixed up using craft paint. The letters are three layers of tissue paper (off set slightly to add depth) and outlined with a white paint pen. White ribbon was stapled on as a hanger.
This little area sits just off of our kitchen. Little One is only 4-1/2 months old so it will be awhile before she's using this space, but I want it to be fun and colorful, just for her!
The chalkboard will be removed and I have another project planned for that wall, coming soon!
